Film buffs have logged around 66 different mistakes in the new movie Harry potter and the half blood prince on the website moviemistakes.com since the film was premiered in London on only July 7th. Im not being nasty but who is that sad to sit there and watch a film over and over again until they find 66 errors? Who has the time in a day to even do that. Now sometimes I have watched a film and noticed

a little mistake somewhere in it but I have never told everyone about it and then gone onto try and find more and more.
I going to have a log on this website now and see what other famous films have mistakes in just because Im quite bored haha! xD

as for the mistakes blame the continuity people for that lol I didn't really notice any when I watched it I was too busy trying to follow the film to see what they changed or missed out completely from the book! :)

I am for my sins an avid fan of the Harry Potter books and have had great pleasure in reading them from cover to cover many times.

I have to say whilst the films have been quite good they do not match up to the books for me at all. But they stand up as pieces of entertainment in their own right.

I thought the latest film wasn't as good as the others for me story wise but the special effects and comedy moments were very good.
Maybe the reason behind this was this because we all now know the outcome of Harry's saga?

& Also most of the mistakes that people put on these websites are really minor and most people wouldnt even notice unless they were specifically looking for them lol

I had a look too and corrected one of them...

[Spoiler warning]

...they said the bottle of luck potion should be half empty as Harry gave some to Ron but he didn't, he only pretended to.

I looked at one of the websites and some of the so called "mistakes" are just ridiculous like you can hear a beep at some point in the movie well maybe that wasn't on the film some people are just really picking at stuff I would understand if they were big mistakes but most aren't!

I don't think people sat and watched the film over and over again to spot the mistakes; they just happened to notice them and added them to the growing list of mistakes.

I've often contributed to websites like this. Movie makers get enough money to be able to pay for editors to ensure mistakes don't happen!
